Joint Pain
 
Joint pain is a common problem that can be caused by any injury or infection of the joint or due to some other ailments. Joint pain usually occurs when any injury or other condition affect any of the ligaments or tendons surround the joint. Pain can also be felt due to joint inflammation (arthritis) and infection or due to tumors of the joint.
There are many possible causes of joint pain including injuries or traumas, osteoarthritis or joint inflammation, infections of the joint or septic arthritis, autoimmune disorders, weak metabolism, etc.
Symptoms of joint pain are persistent joint pain, involuntary weight loss, severe, unexplained joint pain accompanied with other unexplained symptoms.
 
Ayurvedic Approach :-
 
According to Ayurveda Joint & Muscle pains are caused by the aggravation of vata (air) dosha. It is a condition which is caused by accumulation of ama and aggravation of vata. (Ama is a toxic by-product of improper digestion. )This ama circulates in the whole body and deposits or gets collected at the sites which are weaker. When it deposits in the joints and at the same time there is aggravation of vata , it results in a disease called amavata that all results of Joint Pains.
 
 
Symptoms :-
  Acidity Symptoms  Immense pain in muscles Joint pain
  Acidity Symptoms  Stiffness in muscles
  Acidity Symptoms  Stiffness in fingers, wrists, elbows, knees, ankles
  Acidity Symptoms  Inflamation of tissues around the joints
  Acidity Symptoms  Movement of joints become painful
     
Causes :-
  Acidity Symptoms  Joint Injury  
  Acidity Symptoms  Joint strain
  Acidity Symptoms  Joint sprain
  Acidity Symptoms  Infections such as cold, flu, bacterial infection
 
  Do's :-      
         
    Bullet   Diet:- Include celery seeds, bitter gourd, potato, lemon in diet
         
    Bullet   Behaviour:- Bowels should be cleansed daily, regular exercise is necessary
         
  Dont's :-      
         
    Bullet   Diet:- Avoid curd & all sour items pulses (except moong dal), rice, meat, fish, white bread, sugar, refined cereals, fried foods, tea or coffee
         
    Bullet   Behaviour:- Avoid damp place and exposure to cold weather, avoid sleeping in day time
