Atharva Dashmoola Taila contains Vanshalochan (Bambusa arundinacia) which is useful in
diarrhoea, dyspepsia, flatulence, worm problems, vomiting, burning sensation; Dalchini (Cinnamomum zeylanicum) It is aromatic, astringent, stimulant, expectorant, carminative, antibacterial and anti-fungal activity; Tamalpatra (Cinnamomum tamala) It is nervine tonic, digestive, carminative hence helpful in general debility, uterine disorders, anorexia & indigestion; Ela (Elettaria cardamomum) It is an aromatic stimulant, carminative and flavouring agent. It stimulates appetite and is used against flatulance, Nagkeshar (Musea ferra Linn) It shows antibacterial, antifungal and anthelmintic activities. It exhibits significant anti-inflammatory activity; Ova (Trachyspermum ammi Linn) It is much valued for its antispasmodic, stimulant, tonic and carminative properties. It is administered in flatulence, diarrhea and for enhancing body's resistance;Dhanyak (Coriander sativum Linn) It is considered a digestive with pleasant aromatic smell, Jeerak (Cuminum cyminum) They have long been considered stimulant and carminative. They are stomachic, astringent and useful in diarrhea, enhances taste; Pimpalmool (Piper longum Linn) It is a remedy described in Ayurvedic text for flatulence. It has bacteriostatic and fungistatic properties; Sunth (Zinziber officinale Roxb) It is an excelelnt Digestive. It is a carminative and stimulant to the gastro intestinal tract. It helps in case of nausea.
